FET Federal Excise Tax

Federal excise tax is imposed on fishing goods sold in the US by the Federal Government. Such taxes may be imposed on the manufacturer, retailer or consumer, depending on the specific tax. For brands imported directly from Japan by Carolina Fishing Tackle an additional 10% tax will be collected on these items for the Federal Government.
